East Kilbride Rotary Club
WISHING WELL UPDATE - JANUARY 2012
The generous donations from Ben Miloudi's "tip" collection box, has meant that the wishing well has collected £650 or 10600 coins in the current Rotary year.
This total has almost all been disbursed to three East Kilbride organisations; Aidan's Goal; Master Hutton Academy; and the Kilbryde Hospice, but there is still about £450 in the kitty. St Andrews Church is an added recipient
Poor weather noticeably affects the amount donated, with weekly averages ranging from £50 in the summer to £2 recently!
However with a total of £5900 raised since its opening in June 2007, it has certainly been a very successful venture, and hopefully will continue to contribute long past its fifth anniversary in June.
